Advanced Health of Naperville Goes Solar

Advanced Health of Naperville (AHN) on May 13, 2011 was the first commercial entity to have developed and installed a solar photovoltaic system in the city of Naperville. This system is a 7 kW solar photovoltaic flat roof top mounted system. The system was installed by WCP Solar.

Dr. Cathy Subber, owner and proprietor of the establishment has experienced an average saving in excess of $75.00 per month in her electricity bill since the install. In addition, the system was funded by a $10,000 block grant from the City of Naperville, a $14,000 federal grant from the federal government, and $11,000 rebate check from the state of Illinois.

AHN also qualifies to receive additional income from the SREC generated from the system and the system will reduce enough carbon equivalent to 6 acres of forest or 813 gallons of gasoline not being used per year.

Adler Roofing – Joliet’s First Solar Installation

Adler Roofing and Sheet Metal installed the first commercial solar photovoltaic system in the city of Joliet. This system is a 6 kW solar photovoltaic flat roof top mounted system. The system was installed by WCP Solar.

Mr. J Adler, proprietor of the establishment will experienced an average saving in excess of $60.00 per month in his electricity bill since the install. In addition, the system was funded by a $12,000 federal grant from the federal government and $12,000 rebate check from the state of Illinois.

Adler Roofing and Sheet Metal also qualifies to receive additional income from the SREC generated from the system and the system will reduce enough carbon equivalent to 5.5 acres of forest or 743 gallons of gasoline not being used per year.

Dr Jon Jorgenson goes Solar

The 5 kW solar photovoltaic ground mounted residential system installed in the village of Newark, Illinois was the first such solar system to be installed in the village. The system was installed by WCP Solar.

Dr. Jon Jorgensen resident of the home will experienced an average saving in excess of $50.00 per month in his electricity bill since the install. In addition, the system was funded by a $8,000 federal grant from the federal government and $8,000 rebate check from the state of Illinois.

Dr. Jorgensen also qualifies to receive additional income from the SREC generated from the system and the system will reduce enough carbon equivalent to 4 acres of forest or 400 gallons of gasoline not being used per year.
